OTTAWA, CANADA | August 26, 2024 Canada’s Semiconductor Council (CSC) announced that nanoFAB, a premier open access semiconductor micro and nano fabrication and materials characterization centre based at the University of Alberta, has joined the industry association. This strategic partnership enhances the collaborative efforts within the Canadian semiconductor ecosystem, leveraging nanoFAB’s success in supporting startup and SME semiconductor manufacturing needs through state-of-the-art infrastructure and expertise to drive commercialization growth in the sector. “We are delighted to welcome nanoFAB to Canada’s Semiconductor Council,” said Paul Slaby, Managing Director of CSC. “nanoFAB's open access cutting edge capabilities and success in supporting proof of concept, MVP and early stage production of semiconductor products by industry make it a valuable addition to our community.
